I have now been a councillor for 8 years, and always try to put residents first. I do try to answer queries promptly and chase up where necessary.
Since May I have been the Lead member for Children and Learning, allowing me to have greater insight into the welfare of our children and young people and to contribute to the discussions about the challenging financial position facing public and statutory services.
Born and educated locally, I regularly walk through the ward and can see and report issues and liaise with residents, almost on a daily basis.
I enjoy representing the community in the city I call my home, and would wish to continue.
