Being a member of Southend West and Leigh Conservative Party means that you have joined the most open and democratic political party in Britain. After the first three months of your membership, you will be entitled to a vote in Party ballots. You will also have a chance to influence Party policy by letting us know your views.
Any person living in the United Kingdom is eligible to join the Conservative Party. Applicants are not required to be registered voters or UK nationals. There is no upper or lower age limit on membership, although children under the age of 15 cannot be enrolled as full voting members.
We must capitalise on this current resurgence, and strive for a larger, stronger and co-ordinated membership.
The administration of Party membership has been taken over by Central Office, however, you can still renew your membership and apply for membership through your local Association, if you so wish. Please allow at least 28 days for your membership card to arrive from Central Office. In the event Central Office do not contact you regarding the renewal of your membership, please contact the Association office, who will deal with your enquiry.
For information about joining Southend West Conservatives please contact the Deputy Chairman (Membership & Fundraising) by emailing: [email protected] or download the form using the link at the bottom of this page. If you opted to make future payments by standing order, please complete the relevant form.
If you are currently a member, would you please take a few moments to complete the contact form using the link at the bottom of this page, and return to the Association office. This will allow us to comply with data protection regulations, and update your record accordingly. Thank you.
