Cllr Nigel Folkard, arranged a very successful afternoon tea at Iveagh Hall to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the NHS, which was enjoyed by everyone who attended. All profits raised were donated to the Neptune Children's Ward, Southend Hospital. Cllr Folkard is pictured presenting a cheque for £635.20 to staff at the Neptune Ward, along with the other Chalkwell Councillors Stephen Habermel and David Burzotta What a great success!
